Peachtober is a daily art prompt challenge run by Furry Little Peach for the month of October. I participated last year, but I was only able to create daily paintings for nine days before getting overwhelmed.
This year, I decided to participate again, hopefully for at least ten days this time!
After a bit of a rocky start (and feeling like I paint much too slowly to keep up with a daily challenge), I found a rhythm by the second week. I tried to keep each painting to 2-3 hours per piece, but some took considerably longer to finish.
By the third week, I felt confident enough to see the challenge through to the end. I learned to use layer modes and correction layers in Clip Studio Paint to speed up my process. At one point when my schedule got hectic, I did the piece for “Whistle” in purple-tinted greyscale.
