Alissa (Pronounced “Ah-LEE-sah”) Staples is an artist and illustrator living in Vancouver, Canada. After a short hiatus from drawing for unrelated health reasons, she bought an iPad in 2020 and set out on her painting comeback! A lifetime ago, Alissa received her BFA from the University of British Columbia, and a Diploma of 3D Animation and Visual Effects from Vancouver Film School. In more recent years, she has been working as a translator for video games and raising her children, drawing and painting in her spare time.
